2007, In 2003, singer Robert Forse (HEADS OR TALES, AFTERGLOW) and guitarist Tobias Andersson (SEVEN WISHES) came together to write songs for a new band which later should turn out to become THE SHADOWLAND. After putting other projects on hold for this purpose, Forse and Andersson right away knew they had something on offer what a lot of other bands of today don’t: strong melodies and a focus on the song-writing.
With Forse’s know-how from HEADS OR TALES, his studies in the USA at Musicians’ institute and working as a professional singer in Spain plus Andersson’s experiences from SEVEN WISHES the songs came out naturally.
The band’s debut album “Falling” was recorded during Autumn 2006 at Rose Valley Studios with Forse and Andersson handling the production and mastered in Spring 2007 by Lennart Karlsson.
